Students’ Attitude Towards Reading and Its Associated Factors in Samara University, North East Ethiopia

Reading is mentally stimulated, attain knowledge and ideas, reduce stress in their lives, advance vocabularies memory, develop keener analytical skills. All of these skills abilities are critical to a student's success school life. Accordingly, this study was intended identify analyze the factor that affect student’s attitude towards reading at Samara University. This used cross sectional design 345 students were nominated by via stratified random sampling method data have been collected using structured questionnaires. Binary logit model under study. Descriptive statistics result out 55 (15.9%) had negative remaining 290 (84.1%) positive reading, most reading. regression showed: educational level family, palace coming students, participation group discussions schedule significant significantly toward suggested that: should schedule, must be attending class & participate discussion, university provide materials control effect weather condition such as air cooling (AC) ventilator.
